Studio Policies
SchedulingThe studio is available for booking 24/7 by appointment. Sessions are booked in either 4 or 8 hour blocks.
DepositsTo hold your session time a 25% deposit is required. Until we receive your deposit, your session is considered tentative and may be forfeited to another client. This deposit will be applied to your first session. Deposits are non-refundable.
RatesSessions are booked at the rates published by the studio (subject to change) unless other rates have been negotiated. There is a one-hour minimum for all sessions. Sessions that run longer than the original scheduled time will be booked at the published rate assuming the studio is available. Lockout sessions are based on 12-hour days. Additional time will be charged at our standard hourly rate.
Session TimesSession times begin at the scheduled time that both the studio and client have agreed upon. If you arrive early and the studio can accommodate an early start, then the session may begin at that time. If you are late for any reason, you will be charged from the scheduled session start time, with no exceptions. Please call if you are going to be late for your session. Set-up time will be billed at regular studio rates unless other arrangements are agreed to. This includes load-in, instrument/equipment set-up, file transfers, etc.
CancellationsSessions may be canceled 48 hours before the scheduled session date without forfeiting the session deposit. If the studio is unable to reschedule the session, then the deposit will be refunded. If the session is canceled after the 48-hour period before the scheduled session, then the deposit will not be refunded.
PaymentsFull payment is due by the start time of the session. Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, credit card, and PayPal.
Session FilesSession files are released when full payment has been received for the session. Unless immediate deletion is requested from the client, the studio will maintain a copy of all session files for a maximum of 48 hours, at which time all copies of files will be deleted permanently.
Studio EquipmentDamage to any studio equipment or property by the client, or anyone in the client’s party, will be the financial responsibility of the client.
Studio DowntimeUnforeseen problems can occur. If studio downtime occurs at the fault of the studio’s equipment, or any other part of the facility, that time will not be billed. The studio’s liability shall be limited strictly to the studio time of the booked session and clients agree to hold Soundgasm Studios harmless from any damages due to such downtime.
Alcohol / Smoking / VapingGuests that are of legal drinking age may bring and store alcoholic beverages in the bar area of the facilities lounge. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside any areas of the facility. Smoking and vaping are allowed in the outside patio area of the studio.
ParkingClients are asked to park in the cul-de-sac of the studio address. Clients are also asked not to block mailboxes, hydrants, or driveways. Prior approval and arrangements must be made if parking is required for more than 5 vehicles.
